EV stations at public offices to charge fees
49 charging stations to switch to paid-service in March

From the month of March, drivers of electric vehicles will have to pay to recharge their cars at public office buildings. These EV stations are currently free, but a price of three-hundred-thirteen-won per kilowatt hour is in the offing.

For the average electric vehicle that travels 13,000 kilometers a year, that will total about 59,000 won a month.

Currently, 49 recharging stations are provided in the parking lots of public office buildings in Jeju.

공공기관 전기차 충전시설 3월부터 '유료화'

3월부터 공공기관 전기자동차 급속 충전시설이 유료로 전환됩니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면 3월부터 도내 공공기관에 설치된 전기차 급속 충전시설이 유료로 운영됩니다.

충전요금은 킬로와트 아우어(KWH) 당 313.1 원으로
연간 1만 3천여 km를 운행할 때 월 5만 9천원을 부담하게 됩니다.

현재 제주도내에는 제주도청 주차장을 비롯해 주요 공공기관에
전기차 급속충전기 49기가 설치돼 있습니다.
