The local branch of the National Accommodations Association says stranded travelers on Monday were given discounts of up to 50 percent for lodging as they continued to wait for their flights off the island.

Thirty-one hotels and motels in Jeju city began offering the discount Monday as flights started to resume but many were still unable to depart the island.

Travelers can receive the discounts upon presenting their flight tickets or standby tickets. For more information, please call the provincial government’s welfare department at 064-710-2941.

대한숙박업협회 제주시지부는 오늘 중 비행기를 타지 못한 관광객들에게 30에서 50%의 숙박료를 할인한다고 밝혔습니다.

할인혜택은 대기표나 항공기 탑승권을 제시하면 받을 수 있으며, 제주시내 31개 숙박업소가 참여하고 있습니다.
