7. Snow prompts council to extend report submission deadline
Committees must hand in Jeju Future Vision Plan reports by Feb. 2

The provincial council has extended the deadline for Jeju Future Vision Plan submissions by each of its standing committees.

Local lawmakers spent the past year drawing up the plan on investment priorities and direction, an eco-friendly development model, population predictions, infrastructure improvements, urban development, and new growth engines.

The standing committees on agriculture, culture and tourism, the environment, and health and welfare were slated to submit their respective reports in turn from Monday through Thursday this week. The council has extended the deadline to 10 a.m. on February 2nd for all committees, due to the heavy snowfall.

폭설로 제주미래비전 용역보고 일괄 실시

제주특별자치도의회가 각 상임위원회별로 받기로 했던 제주미래비전 수립 용역 보고를 다음달 2일 오전 10시부터 합동으로 받기로 했습니다.

이같은 방침은 32년만의 폭설에 따른 각종 피해 복구에 행정력을 우선 지원하기 위해서 입니다.

제주도의회는 오늘(25일) 농수축경제위원회를 시작으로 내일(26일) 문화관광위원회, 모레(27일) 환경도시위원회, 오는 28일 보건복지안전위원회 등 상임위원회 별로 제주미래비전 용역 보고를 받을 예정 예정이었습니다.
