Jeju to run real estate monitoring squad
Part of efforts to prevent speculation

Officials will form a special monitoring squad in a bid to prevent real estate speculation on the island.

The provincial government says the seven-member team will include certified real estate agents and other experts, and that they will monitor all suspicious activities related to buying and selling land here.

If caught, perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and face tax investigations and penalties.

제주도내 부동산 투기 세력을 막기 위해 부동산전문가로 구성된 모니터링단이 운영됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 감정 평가사와 공인중개사 등 부동산 전문가 7명을 요원으로 지정해
투기적 토지거래와 실거래 의심사항 등에 대한 모니터링을 강화합니다.

특히 위법사항이 발견될 경우에는 고발 조치 등
엄격한 사법처리와 세무조치를 취할 방침입니다.
