250,000 expected to visit over holidays
6% more than last year

A quarter of a million people are expected to visit Jeju during the Lunar New Year holidays.

The provincial tourism association says 250,000 travelers are expected to visit Jeju between February 5th and the 10th. That projection is six percent more than the number of arrivals last year.

Around 49,000 are expected to arrive on Lunar New Year’s eve, which falls on February 7th, in time for family gatherings.

So far 92 percent of all airline tickets for the holiday period have been booked, hotel reservations stand at 70 percent, and 65 percent of all car rentals have been booked for the five-day holiday.

제주특별자치도 관광협회에 따르면 설 연휴가 시작되는 오는 5일부터 10일까지 6일 동안
제주를 찾는 입도객은 25만 명에 이를 것으로 예상됐습니다.

이같은 입도객은 지난해보다 6% 증가한 것입니다.

특히 오는 7일, 4만 9천여 명이 제주를 찾으며 귀성행렬이 절정에 달할 전망입니다.

설 연휴 입도관광객이 25만명에 이르면서 항공편은 92%, 호텔 70%, 렌터카 65%의 예약률을 보이고 있습니다.
