Graduation season begins
137 ceremonies scheduled for Friday

The first of a string of graduation ceremonies at local schools was held Tuesday.

Elementary, middle, and high schools across Jeju will be holding their ceremonies over the next couple of weeks, with the last slated for February 19th.

This Friday will be the peak of graduation season, with 137 schools holding their ceremonies the day before the long holiday weekend.

Provincial authorities are working with each of the schools to ensure that students are safe on their big day.

제주지역 각급 학교 졸업식이 오늘(2일)부터 시작됐습니다.

오늘(2일) 제주동중학교 졸업식을 시작으로 오는 19일까지 도내 초,중,고등학교가 졸업식을 진행합니다.

이번 졸업식은 도내 137군데 초,중,고등학교가 졸업식을 갖는 오는 5일 절정에 달할 것으로 보입니다.

제주도교육청은 졸업시즌을 맞아 학생선도단과 유관기관 합동으로 청소년들의 교외 생활지도에 나섭니다.
