Small-scale farmers reap \3.5b in profits
‘Soodaddeul’ brand to grow to over 70 farms this year

Small-scale farms operating under the joint local brand ‘Soodaddeul’ (수다뜰) made a total of 3.5 billion won in annual profits last year.

According to Jeju Agricultural Research and Extension Services, 40 farms contributed to this aggregate sales figure, including Geumak (금악) Pork Village which alone made a profit of 100 million won in 2015.

Five more businesses and 33 farms are expected to be added to the Jeju brand this year.

'수다뜰'이란 공동브랜드를 사용하는 도내 소규모 농가 사업장에서
지난해 기록한 매출이 35억원에 이르는 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주도농업기술원은 금악포크빌리지가
지난해 1억원의 매출을 올린 것을 포함해
도내 40군데 '수다뜰' 사업장에서
35억원의 매출을 기록했다고 밝혔습니다.

농업기술원은 올해도 수다뜰 사업장을 5군데 확대하고
농촌교육농장도 4군데 늘린 33군데를 육성할 계획입니다.
