168 culture & tourism guides begin work at major attractions
Will be stationed at 31 sites

168 culture and tourism guides are being sent out to the island’s major tourist attractions.

The province has announced that the guides will start working at 31 popular tourist sites on Monday. The sites include the Haenyeo Museum, the Kim Man-duk Memorial Hall, and the Seongeup Folk Village.

In order to meet surging demand, officials upped the number of guides 38 percent over last year’s total of 122.

제주도내 주요 관광지에 문화관광사 168명을 배치합니다.

문화관광해설사가 배치되는 공영관광지는 해녀박물관과 김만덕 기념관, 성읍민속마을 등 제주도내 관광지 31개소입니다.

특히 올해 배치인원은 늘어나는 관광수요에 대응하기 위해
지난해 122명보다 38% 늘어났습니다.
