Old public buses will be replaced with new ones this year.

The provincial government says it will spend around 1 billion won to replace more than 20 inter- and intra-city buses that have been in operation for over a decade.

Many will be replaced with new low-platform buses to facilitate the needs of the elderly and the disabled.

노후화된 시내·외버스에 대한 교체사업이 진행됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 올해 사업비 10억 원을 투입해
차령이 10년 이상된 시내·외버스 20여 대를 저상 전기버스와 중저상 버스 등 고급형 버스로 교체합니다.

특히 교통약자의 이동편의를 높이기 위해
노약자와 장애인이 이용하기에 적합한 저상버스를 확대할 방침입니다.
