Cracking down on real estate speculation
Prosecution, police, tax office to work in tandem

Authorities from the prosecution, police, and tax office are creating a joint system to crack down on real estate speculation in Jeju… around the site for the island’s second airport.

The Jeju prosecutor’s office announced that the first meeting on the issue was held last Thursday. Representatives from the prosecutor’s office, the provincial government, various police departments, and the local tax office agreed to share information on illegal real estate transactions in an aim to clamp down on speculation.

Prosecutors also said they would expand their investigations in order to root out any further violations.

수사사례 등을 공유하고 공조체제를 유지해
유관기관 전체가 투기사범에 적극 대응하기로 했습니다.

제주지검은 앞으로 유관기관과의 공조를 통해 투기세력을 근절할 수 있도록
수사역량을 집중해 나갈 계획입니다.
