Observation events for first full moon of lunar year
Monday at Jeju Starlight World Park and Planetarium, Jeju City Hall

Monday will be the first full moon of the lunar new year, and there will be a couple of viewing events in the city.

Jeju Starlight World Park and Planetarium will offer visitors a chance to observe the full moon between February 20th and the 22nd.

A separate moon observation event will take place at the plaza in front of Jeju City Hall Monday evening, from 7 to 9 p.m. Organizers will provide portable telescopes to see the first full moon of the lunar year. That event may be canceled if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

정월대보름 천체관측 행사 잇따라 열려

정월 대보름날인 오는 22일 제주시내 곳곳에서 다양한 천체관측 행사가 열립니다.

우선 제주별빛누리공원은 오는 20일부터 22일까지 관측실에서
별자리 설명과 천체 관측행사를 진행합니다.

특히 정월대보름 날인 22일 저녁 7시부터 9시까지
제주시청 광장 일대에서 이동식 천체망원경을 이용한 야외 관측회가 마련됩니다.
다만 행사 당인 구름이 많아 천체관측이 어려울 경우 행사는 취소됩니다.
