Jeju to sign agreement with land ministry on low-cost housing
Construction to start as early as July on 46 units in Ara-dong

The government will begin building low-cost housing for young people this year.

The provincial government will sign an agreement with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on February 25th to push ahead with its so-called ‘Happy Housing’ project.

The project is aimed at providing housing for the low-income bracket, and in the first phase of the project here in Jeju, 46 residential units for young people will be built... with construction to start as early as July in the Ara-dong district.

서민들을 위한 주택보급사업이 본격 추진될 전망입니다.

제주특별자치도는 젊은층의 주거안정을 위한 행복주택사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 오는 25일 국토교통부와 업무협약을 체결합니다.

이번 업무협약을 통해 두 기관은 예산지원과 사업시행에 따른 업무분담과 공동협력방안을 모색하게 됩니다.

한편 제주특별자치도와 제주도개발공사는 오는 7월부터 제주시 아라동 병무청 소유 부지 2,200제곱미터에 46세대 규모의 첫 행복주택 조성에 나섭니다.
