Province plans 400+ ‘lifelong education’ projects this year

Some 400 ‘lifelong education’ projects will be carried out in Jeju this year.

The province will spend around 43 billion won on the projects that range from training people in between jobs for re-employment to conducting development programs for employees in the tourism sector.

The move comes as part of the national government’s development projects that are renewed every five years. Government approval for Jeju’s lifelong education projects was made earlier this year after a review by the Korea Lifelong Education Association.
