Jeju City aims to root out 3 of its ‘biggest problems’
Illegal trash disposal, parking violations, unlawful road privatization

Jeju City officials have announced plans to root out three of the most frequently observed problems in the city: illegal trash disposal, parking violations, and the illegal privatization of roads.

The municipal government says it will work with other organizations and agencies to eradicate those acts this year. The city has asked organizations to select one of the three issues they wish to tackle, and have as many related groups take part as possible, in an aim to maximize the number of local citizens involved in the initiative.

The city also plans to stiffen fines and penalties for anyone caught for the violations.

제주시는 각종 불법.무질서 행위에 대한 단속을 강화하는 한편
과태료를 상향 조정하는 방안을 마련해 나가기로 했습니다.
