Exports up 29.3% last year
Products related to online gaming lead the way

The provincial government says Jeju exports increased 29.3 percent last year to just over one billion won.

Despite a 10.5 percent drop in shipments of commodities and a 39 percent tumble in exports of industrial goods, exports of products related to online gaming were up 67 percent, and that was enough to boost the overall total.

Officials have set this year’s export target at 1.1 billion won. They plan to implement a number of strategies to reach that goal, including offering consultations to exporters and operating a global online market.

10억 8천 590만 달러로 전년보다 29.3% 증가했습니다.

분야별로 살펴보면 1차산품과 공산품은 각각 10.5%와 39% 감소했지만,

온라인게임 등이 67% 늘어나며 전체 수출 실적을 주도했습니다.

제주도는 올해 수출 목표를 11억 원으로 잡고, 수출 상담회 개최와 글로벌 온라인마켓 운영 등 다양한 전략을 추진할 계획입니다.
