Applications begin Friday for subsidized electric cars
Government offering \19m toward purchase

The provincial government will soon open up applications for subsidized purchases of electric vehicles.

Eligibility is limited to applicants who are officially registered as Jeju residents. Everyone selected will receive a grant of 19 million won toward the purchase of an electric vehicle.

There are currently eight models to choose from on the island.

The one-week application period begins Friday, which is the first day of the International Electric Vehicle Expo. You can get your name on the list by visiting the International Convention Center.

전기 자동차 특별 보급 18일부터 접수

제주도가 전기차 특별보급에 따른 신청자를 공모합니다.

신청 자격은 제주도에 주소가 등록돼 있어야 하며
보급대상자로 선정될 경우 1천 900만원의 전기차 구매 지원금을 받을 수 있습니다.

올해부터 구입할 수 있는 전기 자동차는 모두 8종으로 늘었는데 신청기간은 국제전기자동차 엑스포가 진행되는 오는 18일부터 일주일 동안이며,
엑스포 행사장인 제주국제컨벤션센터 전기차 부스에서 접수하면 됩니다.
