Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival begins April 1
Jeonnong-ro, Jeju National University, and Jangjeon-ri

The 25th Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival begins April 1st.

In contrast to previous years when the event was centered at the Jeju Sports Complex, this year’s festival will take place at (전농로) Jeonnong-ro, the road in front of Jeju National University, and (장전리) Jangjeon-ri in Aewol-eup (애월읍).

It will also be longer than it has been. The opening event will be held from April 1st through the 3rd along Jeonnong-ro (전농로). The festivities will then move to Jangjeon-ri (장전리) for the ninth and tenth.

In the evenings, special lighting will be turned on along the road in front of Jeju National University, allowing people to enjoy the Jeju cherry blossoms there after sunset.

제주왕벚꽃축제 다음달 1일 개막

제25회 제주왕벚꽃축제가 다음달 1일 개막하는 가운데
축제장과 축제기간이 대폭 확대됩니다.

올해 왕벚꽃축제는 기존 제주종합경기장 일원에서 진행돼 온 예전과 달리
전농로와 제주대학교 입구, 애월읍 장전리 일원에서 분산돼
열립니다.

행사기간도 열흘로 확대됩니다. 주요 내용으로는 다음달 1일부터 3일까지는 제주시 전농로에서 개막행사가 진행되며 애월읍 장전리 왕벚꽃 명소에서도 다음달 9일과 10일 이틀동안 축제가 진행됩니다.

이와함께 제주대학교 입구와 축제장에 경관조명을 설치해
야간에도 왕벚꽃을 감상할 수 있도록 할 계획입니다.
