Jeju Provincial Sports Council inaugurated
Governor is first chairman

Two local athletic councils merged Tuesday into the new Jeju Provincial Sports Council.

Jeju Governor Won Heeryong will be acting as the first chairman. Members agreed to allow the chair to designate the council’s vice-chairperson.

Council regulations have already been approved. The body will work through this September on consolidating sports associations in accordance with those new rules.

오늘(15일)
제주도체육회관 회의실에서 창립총회를 열고 공식 출범했습니다.

오늘 총회에서
통합제주도체육회 신임 회장에 원희룡 도지사를 추대했으며
부회장 등 임원 선출은
신임 회장에게 위임하기로 결정했습니다.

또 제주도체육회 규약안을 승인하고
오는 9월까지
종목 단체를 대상으로 통합을 추진하기로 했습니다.
