Oh Young-hoon to run on Minjoo ticket in Jeju City District B

The nomination for Jeju City District B took a dramatic turn when Oh Young-hoon received the party ticket instead of incumbent lawmaker of 12 years, Kim Woo-nam.

In the Seogwipo District where several former Jeju governors had placed their bids, Wi Sung-gon was nominated to run for the spot representing the Minjoo Party, defeating preliminary candidate Moon Dae-lim.

The finalized lineup by the main opposition party has placed two new faces on the electoral map in Jeju, for Jeju City District B and Seogwipo City District. Kang Chang-il is the only incumbent lawmaker from the Minjoo party to be running against rivals from the Saenuri Party.

The full list of Jeju’s candidates running for the April 13th general elections is now practically complete.
