Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival begins April 1

The 25th Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival begins April 1st, and it will run through the 10th.

It will take place along (전농로) Jeonnong-ro Road, in Jangjeon-ri, and near the entrance of Jeju National University in Jeju City.

On April 3rd, however, all festive events, including a singing contest and a dance event, have been cancelled… in honor of the victims of of the April 3rd Incident.

And drivers need to be aware that (전농로) Jeonnong-ro Road will be closed to all vehicles from the first through the third.

제25회 왕벚꽃축제 다음달 1일 개막

제25회 제주왕벚꽃축제가 '왕벚꽃 자생지, 제주에서 펼치는 새봄의 향연'이라는 주제로 다음달 1일 개막합니다.

이번 축제는 제주시 전농로 왕벚꽃거리와 애월읍 장전리, 제주대학교 입구에서 분산 개최됩니다.

특히 국가추념일인 4월 3일에는 4.3 희생자 추모 분위기에 맞지 않는
가수 콘테스트와 댄스 프로그램 등은 취소하기로 했습니다.

왕벚꽃축제 기간인 다음달 1일부터 3일까지 전농로 왕벚꽃거리는 차량 통행이 금지됩니다.
