Jeju routes dominate domestic flight traffic
Nearly 86% of passenger traffic in February on island routes

The vast majority of domestic flight passengers in Korea are on Jeju flights.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, just over 1.9 million people took domestic flights to Jeju in February. That’s 17 percent more than during the month last year.

There were around 2.2 million domestic flight passengers last month, meaning 85.5 percent of all domestic passengers were on Jeju flights. That’s 2 percent more than a year earlier.

Meanwhile, the number of passengers on international flights to Jeju stood at 175,790 in February. That’s 17 percent more than last year.

제주노선의 국내선 점유율이 꾸준히 증가하고 있습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 지난달 제주기점 국내선 이용객은 195만 2천230명으로
지난해 같은 기간보다 17퍼센트 증가했습니다.

이로 인해 제주노선의 국내선 점유율은 전년보다 2퍼센트 증가한
85.5퍼센트를 기록하고 있습니다.

한편 지난달 제주기점 국제선 이용객은 17만 5천790여 명으로
지난해보다 17퍼센트 늘었습니다.
