Seogwipo land transactions drop in Q1
3,000 fewer sales compared to 2015 Q4

Land transactions in Seogwipo have dropped drastically as the real estate market there shows signs of stabilizing.

According to the city… 7,800 plots totalling 10,300 square meters of land were bought and sold in the first quarter of 2016. That’s around 3,000 plots and 4,000 square meters less than in the previous quarter.

3,400 of those plots were bought by mainlanders, and that’s a 40 percent drop compared to the last quarter in 2015. Buyers from Seoul and elsewhere on the mainland have been the driving force behind the red-hot property market on the south side of the island.

서귀포 토지거래량 감소…안정세 유지

서귀포지역의 토지 거래량이 감소하며
거래 시장이 안정세를 유지하고 있습니다.

서귀포시에 따르면, 올해 3월까지 1분기 동안 서귀포지역의 7천 800여 필지,
면적으로는 1만 300여 제곱미터가 거래됐습니다.

이같은 거래량은 앞선 지난해 4분기보다 필지 수 로는 3천여 필지,
면적으로는 4천여 제곱미터 줄어든 것입니다.

특히 부동산 과열 현상을 주도했던
서울 등 다른지역 거주자가 매입한 토지가
3천 400여 필지로 앞선 분기보다 40% 줄어들면서
전체 토지 거래량을 낮췄습니다.
