Restoration of traditional harbor in Gwideok 1-ri
Province to spend \1b on project this year

As part of efforts to restore traditional harbors on the island, the provincial government will spend one billion won this year on restoration work at the Gwideok 1-ri harbor.

Workers will rebuild the unique basalt harbor and develop it into a tourist and leisure spot.

Last year, the province restored Sinyang’s traditional harbor in Seongsan.

사라져 가는 옛 전통포구에 대한 복원사업이 올해도 추진됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 올해 사업비 10억원을 투입해
귀덕1리항에 대한 복원사업을 추진합니다.

특히 제주만의 독특한 현무암 포구를 복원해
관광과 레저 등 새로운 특화어항으로 개발하고
다양한 스토리텔링도 접목한다는 계획입니다.

제주도는 지난해 성산 신양포구에 대한 복원사업을 추진한 바 있습니다.
