Governor Won Heeryong texted island residents Wednesday, urging them to cast their ballots.

His message stressed the importance of every vote in shaping the future of Jeju and Korea.

Governor Won himself voted last week, during the early voting period on April 8th and 9th.

원희룡 제주특별자치도지사도 적극적인 투표 참여를 독려하고 나섰습니다.

원 지사는 13일 도민에게 보낸 문자메시지를 통해 "오늘은 지역 일꾼을 뽑는 제20대 국회의원선거일"이라며 "여러분들의 신성한 주권을 행사해 달라"고 했습니다.

그러면서 "여러분들의 소중한 한표는 제주와 대한민국의 미래를 바꿀 수 있다"고 강조했습니다.

앞서 원 지사는 지난 8~9일 치러진 제20대 국회의원선거 사전투표를 통해
미리 투표를 했습니다.
