Construction to begin on St. Johnsbury Academy Jeju
Fourth school in Global Education City to open in September 2017

Construction will begin April 28th on the fourth international school in Jeju’s Global Education City.

St. Johnsbury Academy Jeju will open in September 2017 as a boarding school offering elementary, middle, and high school education.

The Jeju campus of the American school will use an American curriculum. Korean students can have their time at the school recognized in the Korean education system, but they must take Korean language and social studies classes to do so. Those are not part of the school’s normal curriculum.

The three international schools already in the Global Education City are North London Collegiate School Jeju, Branksome Hall Asia, and Korea International School.

미국의 세인트 존스베리 아카데미 제주캠퍼스가
오는 28일 착공식을 시작으로 본격 추진됩니다.

세인트 존스베리 아카데미 제주캠퍼스는 유치원과
초, 중, 고등학교 등 12학년 과정으로 내년 9월 개교합니다.

교육과정은 미국 교육과정과 대학 과목 선이수제를 운영하며
내국인의 경우 국어와 사회를 필수과목으로 이수하면 국내 학력으로 인정됩니다.

세인트 존스베리 제주캠퍼스가 개교하면 노스런던컬리지잇스쿨 제주와
브랭섬홀아시아,한국국제학교에 이어 4번째입니다.
