Free entrance to public tourist attractions this weekend
Health centers to stay open May 6

Entrance to public tourist attractions sites across Jeju will be free of charge over the upcoming long weekend.

The provincial administration says it will offer free entrance to 29 sites from May 5th until May 8th. The list includes Seongsan Sunrise Peak, Manjanggul Lava Tube, and Jeolmul Natural Recreation Forest.

Meanwhile, the provincial public service center will be open Friday, which the national government has designated a temporary holiday this year.

For working parents who do not get the day off, child daycare centers will remain open Friday, albeit with reduced staff. It’s the same story for hospitals and other health centers.

The provincial administration has requested that small and mid-sized companies also observe Friday as a holiday this year.

제주도는 도민과 관광객들의 이용 활성화를 위해
성산일출봉과 만장굴, 절물자연휴양림 등 공영관광지 29개소를 5일부터 8일까지
무료로 개방합니다.

한편 임시공휴일인 6일에는 도청 민원실이 정상으로 운영되고
도내 어린이집과 병의원등도 당직제로 운영될 예정입니다.

제주도는 도내 중소기업단체장과 간담회 등을 통해
6일 임시 공휴일에 동참하도록 협조를 요청했습니다.
