Jeju businesses record highest Q1 ROI
Local shopping areas see a 2.7% return, nat’l average sits at 1.7%

Jeju’s shopping areas recorded their highest return on investment in the first quarter of this year.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport released the results of its survey on real estate trends on commercial property for the first quarter of 2016. It showed that the return on investment for Jeju’s shopping facilities stood at 2.7 percent… much higher than the national average of just 1.7 percent.

The Ministry attributed the high rate to an increase in tourists to the island, which helped spur business in shopping districts.

Meanwhile, Jeju’s first quarter asset value came to 1.46 percent… down 0.83 percentage points compared to the previous quarter.
