Most island hospitals open over 4-day holiday
Four of six ERs run around-the-clock Friday

Most medical facilities on the island are operating as usual during this four-day holiday.

The provincial government says Emergency Rooms at all six general hospitals on the island have seen patients as usual on Children’s Day. But private medical centers have scaled back their operating hours for the public holiday, accepting only those that made reservations beforehand.

Four out of the six general hospitals will run their ERs around the clock Friday May 6th… which has been designated a temporary holiday this year. This includes Jeju National University Hospital, Cheju Halla General Hospital and Hanmaeum(한마음) General Hospital.

The province says 90 percent of all private medical centers and pharmacies will be open until midday Friday.

내일(5일)부터 이어지는 연휴에도
도내 의료기관이 대부분 평소대로 환자를 진료합니다.

제주도에 따르면, 종합병원 등 도내 응급의료기관 6곳은
어린이날인 내일(5일) 24시간 비상진료 체제를 유지합니다.

다만 일반 병.의원은 법정공휴일인 만큼, 예약된 환자에 대해서만 진료합니다.

임시공휴일인 모레(6일)는 도내 응급의료기관 가운데 제주대병원과 한라병원, 한마음병원 등 4군데가 비상진료체제를 유지하고 외래환자도 접수할 예정입니다.

또한 일반 병.의원과 약국 가운데 90% 정도가 모레 낮 12시까지 정상 진료를 할 예정이라고 제주도는 밝혔습니다.
