JNU women's track and field team brings home 10 medals
Two freshmen won a combined 6 medals

Jeju National University’s women's track and field team won an impressive 10 medals at the most recent university-level national competition, which was in the city of (문경) Moon-gyeong City in Gyeongsangbuk-do (경상북도) Province.

The team won three gold, four silver, and three bronze medals at the national competition last week.

In particular, freshman (최수미) Choe Su-mi managed to bring home three golds in what was her first entry in a national-level competition.

Another first year student, Im Ga-hee (임가희), demonstrated her promise as an athlete by winning bronze medals in the 400 meter, the 400 meter hurdles, and the 400 meter relay events.

제주대학교 여자육상부가 전국대회에서 무더기 메달을 따내며
전국 최강의 명성을 이어갔습니다.

제주대 여자육상부는
최근 경북 문경시에서 열린 전국종별육상경기선수권대회에서
금메달 3개와 은메달 4개, 동메달 3개 등 모두 10개의 메달을
기록했습니다.

특히 체육학과 1학년 최수미는
대학 입학 후에 처음 출전한 전국대회에서
3관왕을 차지하며 주목을 받았습니다.

이와함께 1학년 임가희도 400m와 400m허들,
400m 릴레이에서 각각 동메달을 수확하며 가능성을 확인했습니다.
