New road construction project around airport takes shape
Work expected to begin in first half of 2017

The road construction project around Jeju International Airport is progressing.

The province has submitted an additional budget plan to the provincial council. It includes 10 billion won more to buy land… for the 2,680-meter-long road, which will start at the cargo terminal and pass the Jeju City Traditional Five-Day Market before connecting with the 1132.

If passed, the additional budget will increase the total amount set aside for land purchases to 22 billion won. The province would then begin negotiations with landowners in the second half of the year. Construction is expected to begin in the first half of next year.

제주공항 우회도로 개설사업이 본격 추진될 전망입니다.

제주특별자치도는
최근 올해 제1회 추경안을 편성해 제주도의회에 제출하면서
제주국제공항에서부터 다호마을, 오일장을 거쳐
지방도 1132호를 잇는
2천 680미터의 도로개설에 따른 토지보상비 100억원을 반영했습니다.

이번 추경안이 원안대로 통과될 경우
토지보상비는 220억원으로 늘어나게 되며
올 하반기부터 본격적인 협상을 거쳐 내년 상반기에 착공한다는 계획입니다.
