Organizers seek ideas from public for Tamna Cultural Festival
Festival begins October 5 in Jeju City

The provincial government is accepting ideas from the general public about what to include in this year’s Tamna Cultural Festival.

While past editions of the event were planned entirely by the organizing committee, from this year onwards, it will include elements proposed by the general public.

Organizers are accepting ideas from across the nation for ideas in six categories: the opening and closing ceremonies, main programs, exhibitions and performances by local residents, a parade that symbolizes Jeju, activity booths, and a slogan in the Jeju language.

The Jeju branch of the Federation of Artistic and Cultural Organizations of Korea is accepting the proposals by post, fax, and email.

The 55th Tamna Cultural Festival will be held from October 5th to the 9th at the Tapdong Coastal Square in Jeju City.

탐라문화제 운영 콘텐츠 공모 실시

제주특별자치도가 탐라문화제에서 운영되는 축제 콘텐츠 공모를 실시합니다.

제주도는 그동안 제주예총과 탐라문화제추진위원회 내부에서 축제 프로그램을 결정해 왔지만, 올해부터 축제 내실을 다지는 차원에서 일반인들의 참신한 아이디어를 반영하기로 했습니다.

이를 위해 오늘(16일)부터 축제 개폐막 행사 연출과 프로그램 전시 공연, 퍼레이드, 홍보 부스 등 6개 분야에 대해 공모를 실시합니다.

한편 제55회 탐라문화제는 10월 5일부터 9일까지 5일 동안 탐라문화광장 일대에서 개최됩니다.
