No airline fuel surcharges in June
International oil prices remain low

Now for some good news for travelers - with oil prices remaining low, airlines will continue next month not adding a fuel surcharge to ticket prices.

Local airline companies say that because of the low price of Singapore kerosene-type jet fuel, they will not institute the surcharges in June for either domestic or international flights.

All tickets bought next month will be free of fuel surcharges regardless of the date of departure.

June will be the tenth month of no surcharges on international flights, and the fifth for domestic flights.

항공업계에 따르면
유류할증료의 기준이 되는 싱가포르 항공유의 평균 가격이 낮아
다음 달에도 국제선과 국내선에 유류할증료를 부과하지 않기로 했습니다.

이에 따라 다음달에 발권하는 항공권에는
출발일과 관계없이 유류할증료가 붙지 않습니다.

한편, 국제선은 지난해 9월 이후 10개월째, 국내선은 5개월 째
유류할증료가 부과되지 않고 있습니다.
