First high school graduates at KIS Jeju
52 students receiving diplomas Saturday

Five years after it opened, Korea International School Jeju will be graduating its first class of high school seniors this weekend.

The school’s first graduation ceremony will take place Saturday. Most of the 52 students receiving their diplomas have reportedly been accepted to universities in the U.S., including Cornell and NYU.

KIS Jeju offers preschool through high school level education. Its student body is projected to hit 900 this year.

한국국제학교, KIS제주가 개교 5년 만에 첫 졸업생을 배출합니다.

KIS제주 첫 고등학교 졸업식은 오는 21일 교직원과 재학생, 학부모 등이 참석한 가운데
열릴 예정입니다.

올해 졸업하는 52명은 코넬대와 뉴욕대 등 대부분 미국 대학으로 진학이 확정됐습니다.

현재 KIS제주는 유치원과정부터 초,중,고교 과정을 모두 운영중으로
올해는 학생 수가 900 여명으로 늘어날 전망입니다.
