UN secretary general delivers keynote at Jeju Forum
Ban Ki-moon meets with PM after Thursday speech

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has given the keynote address at the Jeju Forum.

Ban arrived just before 5 p.m. Wednesday via a chartered flight and headed straight to the International Convention Center.

He then delivered his speech during the Thursday morning opening ceremony. He met Prime Minister Hwang Gyo-an for one-on-one talks afterwards.

This is Ban’s second visit to the annual gathering of global leaders. He last attended the Jeju Forum in 2009.

반기문 UN 사무총장이 제주포럼에 참석하기 위해 1박2일 일정으로 제주를 찾았습니다.

반 총장은 오늘 오후 4시 55분 전세기로 제주공항에 도착한 뒤 제주포럼이 열리는 서귀포시 중문의 국제컨벤션센터와 롯데호텔에서 공식 일정에 들어갔습니다.

반 총장은 내일(26일) 오전 제주포럼 개회식에 참석해 기조연설을 한뒤 황교안 국무총리와 면담을 가질 예정입니다.

반기문 총장의 제주포럼 참석은 지난 2009년에 이어 이번이 두번 째입니다.
