More people flying to, from Jeju
Jeju flights accounted for 87% of all domestic flights in April

The number of people flying to and from Jeju continues to increase.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport says 2.3 million passengers took domestic flights to and from Jeju in April. That’s 8 percent more than a year ago.

Jeju flights accounted 87 percent of all flights in the nation.

Meanwhile, the international passenger tally skyrocketed 19 percent year-on-year in April to 238,000.

제주노선 항공기 이용객 증가

제주노선 항공기 이용객이 꾸준히 증가하고 있습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 지난달 제주기점 국내선 이용객은
232만여 명으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 8% 증가했습니다.

이로인해 제주노선의 국내선 점유율은 87%에 이르고 있습니다.

또 중국인 관광객 증가로 인해 제주기점 국제선 이용객은
지난해보다 19% 늘어난 23만 8천여 명을 기록했습니다.
