Roe Deer Observation Center welcomes first fawn of 2016
Visitors will be able to see baby in June

The Roe Deer Observation Center in Jeju City has welcomed its first fawn of the year.

The baby was born on May 25th, and it will stay with its mother until September. The public will be able to get its first glimpse of it in June.

Wild roe deers usually mate in September and October and give birth between May and July.

노루생태관찰원 올해 첫 아기노루 출산

제주시 노루생태관찰원에서 올해 첫 아기노루가 태어났습니다.

제주시 절물생태관리사무소 노루생태관찰원에 따르면
지난 25일 관찰원에 사육중인 암노루가 올해 첫 새끼를 낳았습니다.

이번에 태어난 새끼 노루는 9월까지 어미와 함께 사육하고
다음달에는 일반에 공개할 예정입니다.

한편 야생노루의 경우 보통 9월에서 10월에 짝짓기를 하고
이듬해 5월에서 7월 사이 한 마리에서 두마리의 새끼를 낳습니다.
