JTO accepting bids for construction of new duty-free shop
\9.6b facility will be in Jeju International Cruise Terminal

Plans for the Jeju International Cruise Terminal are taking shape, as a public bid has opened for the construction of a duty-free shop there.

The Jeju Tourism Organization officially opened the bidding process Tuesday.

The work that needs to be done includes basic construction as well as the installation of machinery, electricity, and fire safety equipment. The total budget for the project is 9.6 billion won.

The duty-free shop at Jeju Outer Pier, which is where international vessels dock, is projected to be a 64-hundred square meter two-floor building with one basement level. Construction is slated for completion next March.

제주관광공사는 오늘(31일)자로 제주항국제여객터미널 출국장 면세점
설치 공사에 대한 입찰을 공고했습니다.

설치공사는 건축과 기계, 통신, 전기, 소방에 걸쳐 진행되며,
공사비는 96억 원입니다.

제주항 출국장 면세점은
지하 1층, 지상 2층의 6천453㎡규모로 조성되며,
내년 3월 준공을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
