Economic census begins June 7
NSO to survey 63,600 Jeju businesses

The National Statistical Office performs an economic census every five years, and it will happen this year from June 7th to July 22nd.

The NSO will survey some 63,600 Jeju businesses that have more than one employee. Researchers will collect information on employment, production, expenses, and corporate management.

Online data will also be collected from June 7th to the 10th.

The resulting database of information will be used in national statistics as well as policymaking and analyses of related research.

오는 7일부터 2016 경제총조사 실시

통계청이 우리 나라 산업의 규모와 고용구조 등을 파악하기 위한
경제총조사를 실시합니다. 5년 마다 진행되는 이번 경제총조사는
도내 1인 이상의 사업체 6만3천600여 군데를 대상으로
고용과 생산, 비용 등 기업경영 전반에 대해 이뤄집니다.

조사기간은 오는 7일부터 다음달 22일까지 이며,
원활한 추진을 위해 오는 7일부터 10일까지 나흘동안
온라인 인터넷 조사도 함께 진행됩니다.

이번 경제총조사 결과는 각종 정책수립과
관련 산업 연구 자료 등으로 활용됩니다.
