Saryeoni Forest Eco-Healing Festival event underway
Mulchat Oreum open to public through June 18

The 8th Saryeoni Forest Eco-Healing Festival began Saturday and is running through June 18th.

Hosted by the (사려니) Saryeoni Forest committee and the provincial government, the 15-day event is taking place on eight sections of the path, including those that begin at (사려니) Saryeoni Oreum and (붉은 오름) Bulgeun Oreum.

The (물찻오름) Mulchat Oreum path is temporarily be open to the public for the duration of the festival.

Among the side events that participants can enjoy are learning handicrafts, walking in straw shoes, tying ribbons of hope, and submitting images to a photo contest.

'사려니숲 에코힐링 체험' 개막…18일까지 열려

제8회 사려니숲 에코힐링 체험행사가
(4일) 개막해 오는 18일까지 열립니다.

이번 행사는 사려니숲길을 중심으로
사려니오름, 남조로 붉은오름입구, 붉은오름 등
8개 코스에서 진행됩니다.

특히 자연휴식년제로 일반인들의 출입이 금지된 물찻오름도
행사기간 한시적으로 개방됩니다.

이와함께 자연물을 이용한 만들기 체험과 짚신 걷기,
희망 리본 달기, 사계절 사진 공모전 등의 행사가 진행됩니다.
