New checklist to guide development
60 items related to landscape, energy, transport, etc.

The provincial government will adopt development guidelines for major tourism complex projects.

A checklist was made with Jeju’s natural environment in mind. Provincial officials will begin using it this month.

There are 60 items on the list, in ten fields, such as landscape, energy and transport. Developers are advised to adjust their project plans in accordance with the list.

The new rules apply to developers of future land projects that span over 500,000 square meters. The list is currently being tested with the Ora Tourism Complex project.

제주특별자치도가 대규모 관광단지 사업장에 대해
개발 가이드라인 성격의 체크리스트를 도입합니다.

제주도는 청정과 공존의 핵심가치에 부합되도록 대규모 관광단지 조성사업 체크리스트를 마련해 이달부터 시행합니다.

체크리스트는 경관과 에너지 교통 등 10개 분야에서
60여개 항목으로 제시돼 있으며
사업시행자는 체크리스트에 부합되도록
개발 계획을 수립하거나 수정해야 합니다.

대상은 부지 면적이 50만제곱미터가 넘는 사업장으로
현재 개발을 추진 중인 오라관광단지에도 시범 적용됩니다.
