Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan seen as export targets
Local officials, company representatives heading to region for talks

The province hopes to export local products to Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.

Officials and representatives from nine local companies will visit the three countries from June 25th until July 2nd. They will hold export-related meetings with prospective buyers of cosmetics, processed food, and industrial products.

The local government is helping to foot the bill for the firms. It is paying for any costs incurred in hiring brokers to attract buyers, rental fees for the meeting venues, interpretation services, and one-way flight tickets.

Jeju exporters foresee significant benefits from shipping to the countries. The economies of Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are showing signs of revitalization.

화장품과 가공식품, 공산품 등
도내 9개 업체와 함께 현지에서 수출상담회를 개최합니다.

특히 참가업체에 바이어 알선비용과 상담장 임차료,
통역비, 편도항공료를 지원하게 됩니다.

제주도는 러시아와 우즈벡, 카자흐스탄의 경우 최근 경제활성화로 성장 가능성이 높은 만큼 도내 수출기업의 시장 다변화에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대하고 있습니다.
