Tourist arrivals this year top 7 million
Milestone reached in record time

Over seven million tourists have visited Jeju so far this year.

The Jeju Provincial Tourism Association says the tally as of June 19th was 7-million-27-thousand. The island hit the seven-million mark 30 days earlier than last year, while arrivals are up 15 percent compared to the same time in 2015.

The association projects the number will continue to climb, as the official beach season is upon us and more cruise ships are scheduled to dock here.

어제(19일)까지 제주를 찾은 관광객은
702만 7천여 명으로
지난해보다 30일 일찍 700만 명을 돌파했습니다.

입도 관광객수는
지난해 같은 기간보다 15% 증가했습니다.

제주도관광협회는
해수욕장 개장과 크루즈 입항 등에 힘입어
당분간 관광객 증가세가 이어질 것으로 예상하고 있습니다.
