‘Ora Tourism Complex must go ahead as planned’
Ora-dong and Odeung-dong committees hold press conference Monday

District committees in Ora-dong and Odeung-dong, Jeju City are calling for the swift development of a proposed tourism complex in their communities.

In a Monday press conference, committee members stressed that a deal had already been signed for JCC, the project developer, to push ahead with the plan in the form of a partnership with the local committees.

The members argued the project should proceed as promised during the World Festival for Island Cultures. They said all local residents would keep a close eye on progress in order for the Ora Tourism Complex to become an international destination.

Committee members also argued that the project must not be halted again, as doing so would “greatly hinder local development.”

세계 섬문화 축제를 통해 제주를 세계무대에 알렸던 오라관광단지가
세계적인 에코 - 마이스 복합리조트 단지로 다시 한번 세계의 중심에 우뚝 설 수 있도록 지역주민들이 철저히 지켜보겠다고 강조했습니다.

그러면서 오라관광단지가 또 다시 내팽개쳐지고
지역발전의 기회가 사그러지지 않도록 도와달라고 당부했습니다.
