Province more actively preserving coastal landscapes
Abandoned or illegal construction projects will be torn down

In order to preserve the island’s coastal landscapes, provincial officials will strengthen their oversight of all coastal properties.

From this month, any abandoned or illegal construction projects along the coast will be torn down, and building railings that are deemed to deter from the landscape will also be removed.

Provincial officials will also screen all future proposed developments along the coastline.

제주도가 해안 경관 보존을 위해
공유수면 관리 방침을 강화합니다.

이에 따라 이달부터
제주도내 모든 해안에 대한 조사를 벌여
경관을 저해하는 난간과
방치된 해안 초소 등
무단 시설물에 대한 철거 작업을 진행합니다.

또 공유수면 내 모든 개발사업은
예외없이 제주도와 협의를 거치도록 해
해안 경관 훼손 사례가 없도록 관리할 계획입니다.
