Rising housing prices boost property tax proceeds 9%
Ramada Hotel pays most in Jeju City at \268m

The government is collecting more in property tax as housing prices continue to climb.

Jeju City officials say they collected 35.9 billion won in taxes on 201,100 properties in July. Compared to the same period a year ago, that’s up 9 percent, or 2.9 billion won.

Experts attribute the rise to more newly-built homes and the overall increase in real estate prices in Jeju.

In the city, the highest amount of property tax collected was from the Ramada Hotel at 268 million won… and the lowest was from a private home in Ora-dong at 2.31 million won.

주택가격 상승의 영향로 재산세도 크게 오른 것으로
나타났습니다.

제주시는 7월분 정기분 재산세로
20만1천100여 건에 359억원을 부과했다고 밝혔습니다.

이는 지난해 보다 29억원, 9% 가까이 증가한 것으로
주택과 건축물의 신축 증가와 주택가격 상승이 주요인으로
분석됩니다.

제주시내
최고 건축물은 라마다호텔로 2억6천800만원이며
주택은 오라동 단독주택으로 231만원입니다.
