More left-turn-only lanes at intersections
\1.3 being spent through November

As part of efforts to reduce traffic congestion, Jeju City will add more left-turn-only lanes to area intersections.

1.33 billion won will be spent on the project through this November. The provincial government, area police, and the Road Traffic Authority have all agreed to the changes.

Altogether seven intersections will have the new work done on them. They include those in coastal areas, the one one near the former Samyang checkpoint, the Aejoro-Nohyeong intersection, and the Yeondong intersection.

교통량 증가로 차량 흐름에 문제가 있는 교차로에
좌회전 전용차로가 확장 설치됩니다.

제주시는 경찰서와 도로교통공단과 협의해
오는 11월까지 13억 3천만원을 투입해
차량정체가 심한 교차로에 대한 구조개선 사업을 추진한다고
밝혔습니다.

사업 대상지역은
해안 교차로와 옛 삼양검문소 교차로,
애조로 노형 교차로와 연동교차로 등 7곳으로
이들 교차로에는 좌회전 전용 차로가 연장됩니다.
