Financial aid for safety checks for unripe mandarins
Government offering ￦300,000 for 2 inspections

Sales of unripe mandarin oranges have been permitted for the first time this year and the provincial government will provide financial aid for safety inspections to check pesticide levels before any are sold.

Growers that plan to sell the fruit through direct sales and delivery services can receive 150,000 won per safety inspection for a maximum of two times.

Once completed, farmers must submit the inspection results to the nearest community service center by August 20th.

Farms that have been certified as environmentally-friendly or those that plan to sell their fruit through processing manufacturers are exempt from the safety checks.

풋귤 안전성 검사 실시…道, 검사비 지원

올해부터 출하가 허용된 풋귤의 안전성 확보를 위해 농약 성분 검사가 실시됩니다.

대상은 직거래나 택배를 통해 풋귤을 출하하는 농가로 최대 2번까지 건당 15만 원의 검사비용을 지원합니다

이와함께 검사 대상 농가는 농촌진흥청 지정 검사기관에 의뢰해
농약 성분검사를 받은 뒤
다음달 20일까지 해당 읍면동에 검사필증을 제출해야 합니다.

다만 친환경인증을 받은 농가나 농감협과 가공업체를 통해
출하되는 경우는 검사 대상에서 제외됩니다.
