In related news, real estate investment earnings in Jeju are the highest in the nation.

The Korea Appraisal Board says in the the second quarter of 2016, the return on investments for officetels and mid-to-large-size commercial buildings in Jeju stood at 1.94 percent and 2.24 percent respectively… the highest rates in the country.

Small commercial buildings around the Nohyeong-dong interchange also recorded the highest return on investments in Korea, at 2.52 percent. Analysts say the growth is due to surging demand in the region.

소규모 상가는 제주시 노형오거리 상권에서의 수익형 부동산에 대한 높은 수요로 전국에서 가장 높은 2.52%의 투자수익률을 보이고 있습니다.
