'Jeju Citizen Welfare Town' project adds homes
1,200 new public housing units to be built

The provincial government has announced it will build some 1,200 public housing units on a 44,000 square meter section of Donam-dong (도남동), Jeju City.

The so-called Jeju Citizen Welfare Town will include 700 public rentals for students and newlyweds and 80 units for the elderly. Another 420 rental units and newly-built homes will be available to the general public.

The provincial government also announced it plans to provide 110 rental units in Hamdeok, Hallim-eup (함덕, 한림읍) and the former site of the Korea National Open University Jeju campus.

시민복지타운 공공주택 1천 2백세대 공급

제주도가 도남동 제주시민복지타운에 행복주택을 포함한 공공주택 1천 2백세대를 공급합니다.

제주도는 오늘 열린 도제실시 정책박람회에서 시민복지타운 부지 4만 4천 제곱미터에 공공주택 1천 2백세대를 공급할 계획이라고
밝혔습니다.

주택별로는 행복주택 7백 세대와 공공실버주택 80세대, 그리고 공공임대와 분양주택 420세대 총 1천 2백세대 규모입니다.

제주도는 시민복지타운을 비롯해 함덕과 한림, 그리고 옛 방통대 부지에도
110세대의 행복주택 공급계획도 발표했습니다.
