TBN Jeju radio service launches
Traffic, flight information on 105.5 FM, 105.9 FM

Adjust your dials - the island now has a new radio station.

The Korea Road Traffic Authority’s Traffic Broadcasting Network launched its 11th local radio station… TBN Jeju… on August 18th.

To mark its launch, the station held a ceremony on Thursday and began its first broadcast at a temporary radio station in Jeju City’s Chilseong-ro district.

Listeners can tune in to TBN Jeju on 105.5 FM in Jeju City and 105.9 FM in Seogwipo. The broadcasts will focus on traffic information, flight updates, and disaster announcements when needed.

A new radio station building will be built for TBN Jeju on a 5,000-square-meter plot in Ara-dong. It is slated for completion in 2018.

제주교통방송이 오늘 개국했습니다.

제주교통방송은 오늘 제주시 칠성로에 있는 임시 방송국에서
개국식을 갖고 공식 방송을 시작했습니다.

제주시 FM 105.5 메가헤르츠, 서귀포시 105.9 메가헤르츠를 통해
교통과 항공, 재난 정보를 방송하게 됩니다.

제주교통방송은 제주시 아라동 5천여 제곱미터 부지에
오는 2018년 신청사를 건립할 예정입니다.
